Good Red Wine

These days I’m asked more than anything else the following four classic questions:

What is a good red wine?
What is a the best red wine?
How to pick the best red wine brands?
Are cheap brand names worth trying?

So I made a decision to write a post about these topics and somehow answer these concerns.

I have already pointed out previously that expensive wines are not always the best selection. That implies individuals do not try out some of the affordable red wines in the world and there are some good cheap ones that get recognised as a truly good red wine.

Of course there is a difference in between costly and cheap wines, but when there are literally 1000′s of affordable red wines in the marketplace so you really can find a bottle that matches both your taste and budget. But don’t forget that you do need to have some knowledge in picking excellent wines.

When somebody is reviewing different wines they often think that a bottle with a very low cost must be of low quality. This isn’t always the case though as there can be a vast difference among the rare grapes and grapes that are accessible for wineries at a reduced cost and consequently the cost per bottle is reduced.

There is a saying when the french have their meal the use red wine.

Malbec wine from Argentina – rich, dry . . . goes with anything. Funky Ilama (brand name) usually goes for 5.99 a btl in grocery store — pretty good.

Long Neck wines from Africa priced similary are also pretty good.

Australian wines are good too — Greg Norman’s wine is very rich and full bodied but a little pricey – 10.00 to 12.00 a btl.

Shaw wines at 2.99 a bottle are good when you’re tight for money.

Wow — listen to me — I’m either a wine expert or lush. anyway, have fun.

I’m making it on Christmas day and was wondering which red is the best for this?

The World’s Best Sangria

1.5 L Red wine (Cabernet Sauvignon)

1 cup Sugar
3-4 oz plain Brandy
1 large Lemon, sliced
1 large Orange, sliced
1 large Apple, cut into thin sections.

I like Cabernet best, and would like to know what you think is the best wine for the buck. Thanks. I would like to know of anything from 5-20$ that is good.

I like Red Bicyclette (French for "Red Bicycle") and it is a yellow label with a little guy riding a bike.

They make a good Syrah, and a Pinot Noir.

I like them because they don’t give me a headache, as do many reds.

I know nothing about wine, however, my mum is very fond of it. Im planning on buying some nice crystal glasses and bottle of wine.
